VISA INFORMATION
The following documents should usually be submited to the Russian Embassy or Consulate to obtain a Business Visa to enter Russia:
- Your original passport which should be valid for a minimum of six months after visa's expiration date and has at least 2 blank pages.
- Russian visa application form, completed and signed (one or two copies depending on the country).
- One or two recent passport size photo.
- For stay exceeding 3 months, or multi entry visa, a HIV test required.
- Official invitation from an organization authorized to invite business visitors to Russia.
INVITATION DETAILS
The Invitation to Russia must be issued by the Russian Foreign Ministry or its regional representatives or by an appropriate Russian Federation Migration Service branch. The invitation Letter must contain: official seal and legal address of the host institution, document registration number and date of registration, signature and name of the official authorized to invite foreigners to Russia, purpose of visit, dates of stay, names of persons invited. For a multiple entry visa you are required to submit the original invitation; for single and double entry visas copies of invitations in particular cases may be accepted, though the Embassy's immigration officer may ask you to present the original invitation.
HOW TO GET INVITATION
To get the Invitation letter issued by the Russian Foreign Ministry please do the following:
- Fill the application form and send it via e-mail to LOC: bogachev@sci.lebedev.ru;
- Join a scanned copy of your passport.
ATTENTION:
Unfortunately, if you have sent a request for an invitation after 28 August,
we can not guarantee its receipt in time. In this case, we can help you to get a tourist invitation.
Price of the invitation with the registration in Moscow is 60 euro. The wait time is about 2-3 days.
